CLUB CATALINA

LEARNING CAN BE FUN
Snorkeling, hiking, body surfing, rock climbing, dissecting squid, touching live sharks...Yes, this is learning and it is FUN!
Students at Vina Danks Middle School work hard all year to be eligible to be a part of Club Catalina. This club is open to 7th and 8th grade students who meet with me every week to prepare for our 3 day outdoor education trip to Catalina Island Marine Institute.
Come by my room if you are interested in joining "The Club"

What an exciting event!!!! My first teaching job was 7th grade environmental science. We visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium but your Club Catalina trip really brings the learning experience to life!!!
Awesome, great job.

This is awesome. I think your program looks great. I can see a blog as a great way to communicate with students and parents, etc. Way to go!
